I love to paint the figure in an expressionistic way. The use of color counterbalanced with a  pose or an abstracted sense of shape and form is a challenge for me. I like it to use my graphic design background to represent the figure in a way that is sensual and conveys a story for the viewer. Sometimes, the figure is faceless or from the back, giving the viewer a chance to be a part of a story, and not see it as a portrait.
